Learn more about protecting your vehicle
If you purchase a Granger Warranty Extended Service plan when your car is still under its factory warranty, your warranty begins from your vehicle’s original in-service date and mileage. This is the date and mileage when a dealer first sold the vehicle as new. Coverage expires at the earlier of the number of months purchased or the number of miles purchased.
For example: Your vehicle’s warranty start date is July 1, 2022 and the odometer reads 10,000 miles. You purchase a 5-Year / 100,000-Mile Premium Care plan on November 1, 2022. Your coverage starts on July 1, 2022 and expires on June 30, 2027 or when your odometer reads 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
If you purchase a Granger Warranty Extended Service plan when your car is outside its factory warranty, your warranty starts from the date you purchase coverage and the mileage on your odometer when you purchased coverage.
For example: Your vehicle’s warranty start date is July 1, 2022 and your odometer reads 42,000 miles. You purchase a 5-Year / 60,000-Mile PremiumCare plan on May 1, 2024. Your coverage starts on May 1, 2024 and expires on April 30, 2029 or when your odometer reads 102,000 miles, which occurs first.

You’ll receive a warranty card that you can provide to the mechanic or dealership performing the repairs.
In order to purchase a used vehicle plan you also have to have an inspection of the car by a certified technician. We’ll arrange for an inspection as part of the purchase process.

Contracts can be modified as long as you are still under the 3 Year/36,000 mile factory warranty for most makes or 4 Year/50,000 mile factory warranty for Lincolns. Once you are past that the plans are locked, and no changes can be made. For modifying a contract we charge a $50 fee.
